SIG Sauer Mosquito Review – Jams and Misfeeds

The SIG Sauer Mosquito is a semi-automatic handgun that’s based on the SIG Sauer P226, but 10% smaller. Chambered for the .22 LR (long rifle) cartridge, the SIG Mosquito pistol has a polymer frame.

At an on-line gun forum called The Firing Line, there’s a SIG Sauer Mosquito review that swats and squashes the SIG Mosquito. According to a handgun reviewer named Gun Safe, this little pistol jams and misfeeds with any type of ammunition.

Ammo issues aren’t the only problems with the SIG Sauer Mosquito, however. A safety malfunction with the handgun made it inoperable. Clearing the weapon didn’t work, so Gun Safe had his firearms serviced by a professional gunsmith, which can be expensive.
