VA Disability Compensation Rates Vary

VA disability compensation rates depend on several factors. First, disabled veterans need to understand that there are differences in what the VA will pay to wounded warriors based on your disability rating percentage. Spouses, dependents, and children also factor into VA calculations and compensation formulas.

The VA publishes compensation tables for veterans who have a disability rating of 10% or higher. However, if you are a disabled veteran rated as 30% or more, you may be entitled to additional compensation based on other household factors, such as whether you have school-age children.

Veterans can also receive travel reimbursements for mileage or public transportation.  So don’t assume that you don’t qualify for your fair share. Get the facts about VA disability compensation rates.
